Clara is 12 weeks old today

Clara loved having Ella read to her. Ella had fun reading! Clara likes to try to grap the pages.

Clara likes putting her hands in Ella's hair, but Ella doesn't like it when Clara forgets to open her fingers and pulls Ella's hair.

Clara saves her best smiles for her Momma. Some people have been calling Clara a boy so it's time to break out the pink bow.

Clara's getting bigger

While Clara is getting bigger, her mom is getting smaller. Happy Momma and Happy Baby!



Clara can now reach up and bat her toys around. She looks so surprised when the toys start moving.

Clara had fun playing today, but the day was gorgeous so we had to go outside. Clara loves her stroller and was happy riding around the beautiful Broad Ripple Neighborhood. If the sun got in her eyes or she got tired, she fell asleep until a bump in the sidewalk woke her up. She smiled most of the ride.

Happy Clara

Last night Clara came over to play while her mom and dad were working. Clara loved playing with Ella. We played "This little piggy..." with Clara's toes. She got so happy when it was time for "wee wee all the way home." Clara was a delightful guest and seemed relieved when her mom came to take her home and put her to bed.

Clara likes to look at her toys and the frog that makes noises.

Today Clara was energetic. She loves to kick her legs. She knocks her pacifier out of her mouth and looks so proud. She still likes her gym and her musical giraffe. She didn't drink as much milk as last week, but she is still a big girl. Her mom thinks she might have gained over half a pound this week!

Clara will be 8 weeks old tomorrow!

Poor Clara had her shots yesterday. Her family had a rough night, but Clara was ready to play today. She has changed so much since the last time we played two weeks ago. She is growing so big. She weighed 13.4 at her doctor’s appointment yesterday.
Two weeks ago her eyes would be wide with wonder and then slowly fade into sleep and then awhile later her eyes would open to play and then fade to sleep.
Today she was a little fussy from her shots, but her eyes were wide open. She liked looking in the mirror, watching the dining room ceiling fan spin and looking out the window. She took a short nap and woke up happy. She loved looking at her gym and listening to the musical giraffe. She played happily for 15 minutes and then was ready for her mom's milk and another nap.
